    Build your skills

    Practise briefing, screening, interview planning, interviewing and analysis. If you already have these skills, you can discuss your experience with us directly.

    Show how you work

    We need to understand the original question, your role, a sample of the evidence and your reasoning. The format, criteria and terms of any assessment are agreed before it begins.

    Discuss a specific project

    Relevant experience is considered against project needs. Scope, timing, quality review and payment are agreed separately before work begins.

Show your reasoning,
not just the conclusion.

A short sample is enough if it makes the question and your reasoning clear. Do not share recordings or confidential documents without permission.

Before your first step

Can I contact you without buying the course?

Yes. If you have experience, tell us about it and discuss working on projects. The course is a way to learn, not a fee for having your application considered.

What if I do not have a portfolio yet?

Start with practice. Share a training sample you have permission to show and label it clearly as an exercise. You do not need a portfolio to discuss learning.

Does the course guarantee a job at AskCraft?

No. Completing the programme, assessing your skills and joining a specific project are separate steps. Available work, requirements and terms are discussed separately.

How does assessment work, and are trial assignments paid?

The format, scope, assessment criteria and any payment are agreed before an assignment starts. This page is not a job vacancy or a guarantee of a place on a project.

A compact portfolio sample

Prepare 2–3 pages: the research question, participant criteria, a passage you have permission to share, one observation and an alternative explanation. Finish with a proposed next test. State your role and label practice work as such.

An initial conversation covers your experience and any available work. If an assessment is needed, its scope, timing, criteria and terms are agreed beforehand. This page does not list an open vacancy.
